It is with the greatest pleasure that we welcome Dr. Scott Recksiedler to San Diego Prosthodontics!

Beginning in July 2015, Dr. Recksiedler will be joining our prosthodontic dental team. We feel very fortunate to have such a competent, qualified and skilled specialist join our San Diego prosthodontic practice. You will find him very approachable and extremely committed to the specialty practice of prosthodontics.

To help you get to know Dr. Recksiedler, let us start by sharing his background and how he came to be a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist. Dr. Recksiedler grew up in San Diego where he attended Granite Hills High School. After graduating from the University of California at Davis with a degree in biology, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. It was here that he became interested in the practice of prosthetic dentistry and was awarded the Dr. and Mrs. Albert J Kazis, D49 Endowed Prize Fund in Crown and Bridge.

The next step in his prosthodontic education was completing a 3 year hospitalbased accredited prosthodontic residency at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Dr. Recksiedler is currently at the University of California Los Angeles in a maxillofacial prosthetics residency gaining advanced training in the diagnosis and supportive treatment of patients with severe oral and facial deformities from cancer, trauma, or congenital malformations.

We are pleased to introduce Dr. Recksiedler and eager to have him as part of our dental team starting July 2015.
