Care of Implants

Immediately following the surgical placement of dental implants, be careful not to irritate or put undue pressure over the surgal site. Avoid disturbing any sutures that might be present and carefully follow the post-operative instructions of your dental surgeon.

Once healing is complete, dental implants are maintained similarly to natural teeth and should be brushed after each meal. Oral hygiene is accomplished using a conventional soft toothbrush, proxabrush or dental floss. Please follow any specific instructions your oral surgeon or periodontist has given you regarding the maintenance of your implants.

Full & Partial Dentures
